High Performance Disc Couplings KOP-FLEX? high performance or high speed disc couplings are available in four designs to accommodate all operating conditions and applications. In reduced moment with lowest overhung moment - RM with its interlocking (redundant) configuration, RZ allows lowest overhung moment at an economical price. Marine style - allows for installing and removing factory assembled center sections without removing the driving or driven end rigid hubs/adapters.? KS Disc Couplings KS disc coupling, is a sister to the KOP-FLEX? high performance disc coupling, also designed to meet API 671 and? provide a less expensive alternative for applications with intermediate speed range.  ? ? ? ?

- MP - Marine style design only - with rigid hubs for large bore capacity.

High Performance Gear Couplings
OP-FLEX? revolutionized the industry in early 1950's by pioneering a high performance gear coupling for Turbomachinery. Although the vast majority of new applications are for high performance disc or diaphragm couplings, gear couplings are still the work horse in hundreds of applications throughout the world. A majority of these installations in gas turbine load and accessory drive applications feature KOP-FLEX (formerly known as Koppers). The gear coupling, with its continuous oil lubrication method, if properly maintained, has tremendous torque capacity in a given diameter compared to non-lubricated type high performance couplings. ?  ? ?  - Meets API 671
